He Lacks Home, but Not Passion for Game

I read with immense consternation the story detailing Mrs. Autry’s and the Angels’ financial travails.

Will someone please buy that team before she and Mr. Autry end up as my neighbors?

I am homeless. I live in a softball dugout in a county park just outside San Luis Obispo. Even though I lost my home and job, I still read The Times sports section, and until Jackie Autry became involved in the day-to-day running of the team, I was a core Angel fan.

What is the deal with Anaheim matriarchies? The Angels and Rams are the two worst-run franchises in sports. I understand about the Rams, but the Angels have no excuse.
