West Covina : ‘Erase Graffiti’ Request

City officials and the Chamber of Commerce have asked retail businesses to voluntarily restrict access to markers and aerosol spray cans in an attempt to keep minors from buying them.
The City Council on Tuesday passed the resolution to support its “Erase Graffiti” program.
City staff said 73 local businesses sell spray paint and markers. The city and chamber will notify these stores of the voluntary restriction and ask them to put the materials behind counters where only salespeople would have access to them.
