“First Victim of the 21st Century,” by Carlos Fuentes and “Bush’s Snub Unmasks Craven Appeasement,” by Edwin M. Yoder Jr. (Commentary, April 1) hit the mark right on. I read presidential spokesman Marlin Fitzwater’s remarks and could not believe my eyes. How many more insults can this Administration heap upon this nation for its citizens to have to bear?
