Michael Waltrip, with a speed of 115.616 m.p.h., was the fastest second-day qualifier for today’s NASCAR race at North Wilkesboro, N.C. Waltrip will start in the 17th position. Alan Kulwicki earned the pole Friday with a speed of 117.242 m.p.h.
