Tower Records Will Move Up in Anaheim

ANAHEIM — Tower Records said it plans to relocate its Anaheim store in August to a nearly 20,000-square-foot location that will be the recorded music and video chain’s largest Southern California retail center.
The new outlet, to be located at a former furnishings store at 220 N. Beach Blvd., will be about three times the size of the current Tower store about a block away.
Assistant manager Mike Williams said the new location will include a stage for bands to perform on, a 60-foot newsstand and a bestseller book section--something several other Tower outlets have added in the past year.
