Under the guise of monetary savings, the Newport-Mesa school board extended their own terms by one additional year. Voters elected these officials to serve four years. Who do they think they are to extend their own term limits?
This issue is for the voters to decide, not the board, who seem to think that all its devious tactics go unnoticed. Could you imagine the Senate extending their own terms to avoid an election campaign with the excuse that it saves us money?
