Why has no one said that Dist. Atty. Ira Reiner had a choice of what charges to file against the four police officers? And that the consequence of his choice to file felony charges held the standard of proof and the necessity to prove intent much higher? In choosing to go for all or nothing (in my opinion to advance his career), he lost the case and all of us have lost immeasurably.
