Advanced Photonix Wins Photodetector Contract

Advanced Photonix Inc. in Camarillo said it has received a contract for $212,000 from ITT Electro-Optical Products for production of a silicon photodetector called a Star Sensing Detector Array.
Advanced Photonix said the device would be used to monitor the location of a satellite relative to different stars and galaxies. The company said it expected to finish the contract by March 31, 1993.
