BARTY’S PARTY: Garden Grove Strawberry Festival officials had a good reason for choosing veteran actor Billy Barty, above, as grand marshal for Saturday’s 10:30 a.m. parade. Barty has donated his time for seven years to be host for its Tiny Tots contest. “He’s volunteered so much and we never gave him a position of honor,” board member Gerry Kessler says. . . . Barty, who is back for the Tiny Tots again, is the founder of Little People of America, which promotes education about dwarfism.
