Aylard Wins Award for Academic Excellence

Jill Aylard received the Ed Peterman Academic Excellence Award at the Azusa Pacific University commencement May 2.
The award of $300, intended to assist the recipient in building a personal library, is funded by the Marshburn Memorial Library on campus.
Aylard was an English tutor in the university’s Learning Enrichment Center, assisting international students with writing and speaking skills. She has also been an elementary school counselor.
