After the Riots / NEWS IN BRIEF : WORKSHOPS AND CONFERENCES

Small-business owners whose companies were damaged by recent riots can receive information about recovery assistance at an “Impact Conference” from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today. The event will include presentations by the Small Business Administration, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Community Redevelopment Agency, Assn. of Black Women Entrepreneurs, Coalition of Women Economic Developers, Black Business Expo and the Los Angeles and Crenshaw chambers of commerce.
