RIOT DECIPHERING: Two major players in the aftermath of the Los Angeles riots will be on a panel at the Barclay Theatre on the UC Irvine campus Thursday night at 7:30 to discuss what might have caused them. L.A. Police Commission President Stanley K. Sheinbaum and the Rev. Cecil Murray of the First AME Church in South L.A. both played peace-keeping roles following the disturbance. . . . Sheinbaum said after the riots, “We want to rise above pointing fingers and move ahead.”
