* The former president of Macmillan-McGraw-Hill School Publishing Co., Richard T. Morgan, will become president of General Cinema Corp.’s Harcourt Brace Jovanovich publishing subsidiary, the company announced.
The move completes a switch begun when former HBJ President Peter Jovanovich was named head of Macmillan-McGraw-Hill on April 7.
Morgan, 55, will oversee all the publishing operations of HBJ. General Cinema acquired the Orlando, Fla.-based firm for $1.5 billion last fall.
Morgan was previously senior vice president and editor-in-chief of Ginn & Co.
