SDSU Cuts

Why is it that politicians will fight to prevent the closure of local military bases but are now sitting idly by and allowing the drastic cuts at San Diego State University and other schools to occur? These departments being cut also represent jobs.
The students, too, who now must move to a place that will provide their major, they are also very important members of our community.
Come on you elected, so-called representatives. Use your cherished clout to do some good. Save our schools and universities.
