FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Issues Advisory About Freeway Work Areas

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week:

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Cerritos: Westbound connector to southbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605); 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. today; guardrail repair.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

2. Los Angeles: Slauson Avenue off-ramp from the southbound Harbor Freeway (110); 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday; guardrail repair.

3. San Pedro: Channel Street and Gaffey Street off-ramp from the southbound Harbor Freeway (110); 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday; sign repair.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

4. Bell: Eastbound Florence Avenue on-ramp to the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710); 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday; landscaping.

5. Commerce: Northbound No. 1 lane from Washington Boulevard to northbound Santa Ana Freeway (5) and the No. 1 lane over the Santa Ana Freeway (5); 5 a.m. to noon today; guardrail repair.

6. Commerce: Southbound No. 1 lane from the southbound Santa Ana Freeway (5) to Washington Boulevard; 6 a.m. to noon today; glare screen repair.

7. Commerce: Washington Boulevard off-ramp from the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710); 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.

8. South Gate: Northbound No. 3 and 4 lanes from Firestone Boulevard to Clara Street overpass; 6 a.m. to noon today; graffiti cleaning.

9. Various Cities: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from Humphreys Avenue to the Los Angeles River; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; sweeping.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

10. Cerritos: Southbound No. 4 lane from the Artesia Freeway (91) to Artesia Boulevard; 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. today; slope repair.

11. Santa Fe Springs: Northbound No. 1 lane from Slauson Avenue to Washington Boulevard; 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; crack seal repair.

12. Santa Fe Springs: Northbound No. 1 lane from Washington Boulevard to Saragosa Street; 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; crack seal repair.

13. Santa Fe Springs: Northbound No. 1 lane from Saragosa Street to Dunlop Crossing Road underpass; 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; crack seal repair.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

14. Norwalk: Northbound No. 4 lane from Carmenita Road to Rosecrans Avenue off-ramp; 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday; landscaping.

15. Santa Fe Springs: Florence Avenue off-ramp from the northbound Santa Ana Freeway (5); 6 a.m. to noon Saturday; guardrail repair.
