Man Charged in Plot to Murder Wife With Snake

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — A man has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder for allegedly trying to hire someone to kill his estranged wife by putting a poisonous snake in her tent when she was camping. Police said Wednesday that Morris Robinson, 38, apparently was upset that his wife, Lois, might receive the couple’s home in a divorce settlement.
