POETRY IN MOTION: Los Angeles poet Ras Jimi Jaimin, who will read his work at Chapman University tonight at 8 (F1), says long-distance running, like poetry, helps him deal with life’s challenges. . . . “When I run, I leave my problems on La Brea (Avenue) and Crenshaw” Boulevard, says Jaimin, who has competed in six Los Angeles Marathons. . . . Jaimin’s poetry concentrates on the stresses of urban life, from racism to romance.
