Pasadena : Critics Plan Freeway Forum

A new group opposed to the extension of the Long Beach Freeway (710) has scheduled its first freeway forum on Wednesday in Pasadena.
The Pasadena-based group NO 710, which stands for Neighbors Opposed to the 710 Freeway, will present talks by transportation engineers Bob Huddy and David Stein, as well as Bob Brina, president of the West Pasadena Resident’s Assn.
Leaders of the group say they want to let local, state and federal officials know that others besides the city of South Pasadena are against extending the freeway from Alhambra to Pasadena.
The meeting is to start at 7:30 p.m. at La Casita del Arroyo, 177 S. Arroyo Blvd.
