Return of Shoes to Imelda Marcos Urged

MANILA — Imelda Marco’s supporters asked the government of President Corazon Aquino Friday to return to the former First lady her collection of more then 1,200 pairs of shoes.
The shoes, a bulletproof bra, luxurious gowns, perfume and other personal effects were left behind when the Marcos family fled into exile during a popular revolt in 1986. The belongings were put on display at the presidential palace, which was turned into a museum.
