SmithKline Shops Some Products: Pharmaceutical giant SmithKline Beecham said it may sell some of its personal-care product lines in the coming months in an effort to focus on its health care operations. The London-based firm, whose U.S. headquarters are in Philadelphia, also said it is exploring swapping those lines for health care products made by other firms or for a combination of products and cash. Among the company’s personal-care products are Brylcreem hair dressing, Bosene shampoo and Badedas bath gel. Its health care products include Contac cold medication, Sucrets throat lozenges, Aquafresh toothpaste and Tums antacids. They are not for sale.
