BACK-SEAT DRIVERS: “What I’d really love to do is drive a car,” says Brandi Winemiller of Garden Grove. But of course, she can’t, since Winemiller has been blind since birth. But what she can do is navigate. . . . . Today she navigates for a driver in her eighth appearance in the Braille Rallye in Los Angeles. She’ll be among 50 blind people who will read Braille or large-print directions for the competition. “I love it--gives me a chance to show there isn’t anything a person can’t do if they try.”
