BASEBALL DAILY REPORT : DODGERS

Triple-A players Pedro Martinez and outfielders Henry Rodriguez and Tom Goodwin made the Pacific Coast League All-Star team. Goodwin won’t make it to the game, however, because he was called up by the Dodgers Wednesday to replace pitcher Pedro Astacio, who was sent down. Catcher Mike Piazza will take Goodwin’s place. Players making the All-Star team from the Dodgers double-A club at San Antonio are infielders Matt Howard and Tim Barker.
