Litton Industries Inc.’s Data Systems division in Agoura Hills has been awarded an $8.4-million contract by the U.S. Air Force to produce 80 battlefield command terminals.
The terminals will be made at the division’s facility in Colorado Springs, Colo., and will be delivered beginning in May. The contract also provides for the production of up to 142 additional terminals.
Litton, a Beverly Hills-based defense contractor, said the terminals would be used for communications between air support operations centers and Air Force air controllers.
