ALL-TIMERS: President Nixon’s favorite baseball players won’t be announced until today’s Nixon Museum luncheon, but the guest list gives good hints: Ted Williams, Bob Feller, Johnny Bench, Joe Morgan, Willie McCovey--and Ruth, that is, the Babe’s 74-year-old daughter, Julia Ruth Stevens. . . . How would the Babe have reacted? “It’s hard to say,” she says. “He was a little irreverent. He wasn’t all that impressed with the Hall of Fame when it opened.” . . . A hint for gawkers: The players start arriving at 10:45 a.m.
