SCECorp., the Rosemead-based parent of Southern California Edison Co., reported second-quarter earnings of $158.1 million, down 5.6% from 1991’s $167.5 million, in part because the state lowered Edison’s authorized rate of return on equity.
Revenue of $1.76 billion was up from $1.7 billion a year earlier.
Profit at SCECorp.’s unregulated Mission Group unit was flat.
