EASTWARD HO? Business recruiters from 28 states are in Anaheim this weekend, trying to persuade Southern California companies who are relocating or expanding to look their direction. Trends 2000 opened its three-day conference at the Anaheim Marriott Friday. The event reflects a national trend toward intense competition to attract corporations unhappy with California’s business climate. . . . There is interest by business too: 125 Southern California companies have signed up for its seminars.
