Litton to Build Navigation Systems for Fighter Plane

Litton Industries Inc. said its Guidance & Control Systems division in Woodland Hills has received a multimillion-dollar contract from Lockheed to develop and provide navigation systems for the U.S. Air Force’s next generation F-22 fighter plane.
Litton, a Beverly Hills-based defense, aerospace and industrial products firm, said it would begin delivery of its navigation technologies in late 1993. The value of the contract to Litton could exceed $100 million, the company said.
