Here Comes the Fudge

The minute I heard the knock at my door I knew something was wrong. Why wasn’t the dog barking? I went to investigate, and found her in the midst of tearing into a package of brownies that UPS had left at my back door. I could hardly blame her: The intense smell of chocolate came wafting through several layers of cardboard packaging.
Lea Jean Nimmo’s fudge-y frosted brownies are truly incredible. Not too sweet, the rich buttery bars pack a chocolate punch tempered by the smooth creaminess of chocolate butter-cream frosting. They are so rich that they’re half-way to being fudge.
A half-dozen large (they weigh in at about a quarter pound apiece) brownies cost $21.95 plus shipping, and you can mix any of 13 flavors (these include raspberry, cheesecake and cappuccino). While you’re ordering, you might want to consider buying some of Nimmo’s fantastic chocolate and peanut butter fudge, which sells for $9.95 a pound.
My dog especially liked the fudge. I tried to explain that it’s against the law to open someone else’s mail, but she didn’t seem particularly contrite.
