NORTH HILLS : Police Investigate Man’s Fatal Beating

Los Angeles police Thursday investigated the fatal beating of a Sun Valley man in North Hills.
Luis Ruiz, 42, was discovered dead in a vacant lot in the 8500 block of Noble Avenue on Tuesday, Detective Tom Broad said.
“It appears there was some sort of dispute between parties, but we don’t know who the assailant is,” Broad said.
