Selling Airport Is Shortsighted Idea
More creative action should be taken to boost our flagging state, county and city fiscal failures than the harebrained ideas of Stanton’s proposal to sell Orange County Airport or Vice President Dan Quayle’s suggestion to sell LAX.
With this kind of thinking, it’s no wonder we’re in trouble.
Why not consider, for example, raising the car-pool lane violation fee to $1,000?
The idea is both reasonable and responsible, and in just a few days, the coffers would be overflowing.
