Horning In on Morning Briefing

Get out your atlas and look up Angola and the Horn of Africa (Morning Briefing, July 31). Then tell Philadelphia sportswriter Bill Conlin to do the same.
According to my calculations, the distance between Luanda, Angola, and Mogadishu, Somalia, (2,340 miles) is about the same as the distance between Los Angeles and Philadelphia (2,385 miles). Placing Angola in the Horn of Africa is like putting California on the East Coast.
