ORANGE — Doctors at UCI Medical Center on Friday were trying to identify a teen-ager listed in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle in Anaheim.
The boy, about 16 years old, carried no identification, authorities said. He was struck Thursday night at 530 N. Brookhurst Street, said Elaine Beno, a hospital spokeswoman.
Before passing out, the boy told paramedics his name was Sean.
He is described as Caucasian, 5 feet 8 and about 150 pounds. He has shoulder-length, wavy brown hair, blue eyes and is cleanshaven, Beno said. Beno said he had a yellow key chain in his pocket.
The boy, who wore no shirt, had dark gray sweat pants and white boxer shorts on, she said.
Anaheim traffic bureau officers could not be reached for further details on the accident.
Beno said anyone with information about the boy can call the hospital nursing supervisor at (714) 456-6112.
