Alemany’s Dominique Paces 16-0 Win

Andy Dominique of Alemany High had two hits and knocked in four runs to lead the Area 818 Angels to a 16-0 victory over the Area 213 and 310 Dodgers on Friday in the annual Area Codes Games at San Jose Municipal Stadium.
The Angels scored 16 runs in four innings. The game was called after 4 1/2 innings because of the 10-run rule.
Dominique keyed a five-run fourth with a bases-loaded double. Casey Snow of Crespi and Dan Cey of El Camino Real added run-scoring doubles in a four-run second.
Jesus Pinado (1-0) and reliever Eddie Hernandez, who both will be seniors at Bishop Amat this year, combined on a three-hitter.
Pinado pitched four innings and gave up two hits. He and Hernandez each had two strikeouts.
