Republicans on Abortion
Won’t someone tell George Bush that he can’t have it both ways. Bush says he would “stand by” his granddaughter if she elected to have an abortion. If the right to have an abortion is taken away, then not only would she have to break the law, but in doing so she would put at risk her fertility, if not her life.
All of us would rather stand by our daughters than to stand by our daughters’ graves. Keep it safe, keep it legal, Mr. Bush.
