Molotov Cocktails Start Fires at Feminist Clinic, Offices, Restaurant

SACRAMENTO — A feminist health clinic, a state government office and a fast-food restaurant were damaged in two separate fires that were started by Molotov cocktails Tuesday, police said.
There were no injuries in either pre-dawn incident, and fire damage was limited, police spokeswoman Betsy Braziel said.
Braziel said bottles containing flammable liquids were thrown at the Feminist Women’s Health Center about two miles east of the state Capitol, damaging the health center and the offices next door belonging to the state Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
About an hour later, employees opening a McDonald’s about five miles north of the Capitol found broken windows and the remains of at least one Molotov cocktail inside the store.
