PDA Engineering Wins NASA Pact: PDA Engineering, a mechanical engineering software company, said it has won a $6.75-million contract from NASA. The space agency will buy PDA’s Patran analysis and M/Vision materials software systems, which it will use in the development and engineering of such projects as the Space Station, the National Aerospace Plane, the High Speed Civil Transport project, the Long Duration Exposure Facility and the Advanced Launch System, PDA said. Four NASA research facilities--including Ames in Mountain View, Calif., and Dryden at Edwards Air Force Base--will buy the PDA software over the next three years.
