Fit for a Prince: Prince fans from around the world will descend on Minneapolis/St. Paul this weekend for the second annual Prince convention, but there’s no guarantee they’ll catch a glimpse of their reclusive idol. The convention is sponsored by Controversy, the official Prince magazine and fan club. Prince doesn’t personally participate in the events, but he was spotted by fans attending last year’s convention. Events include a gospel brunch, riverboat cruises and bus tours to Prince’s Paisley Park Studios in the Minneapolis suburb of Chanhassen and a listening party for Prince’s forthcoming album.
