Countywide : Hart to Discuss State Budget at College

State Sen. Gary K. Hart (D-Santa Barbara) will visit Ventura College on Friday to discuss the impact of state budget cuts on education, Hart officials said Wednesday.
Hart, chairman of the state Senate Education Committee, said he will also discuss with faculty and staff the condition of the economy and its effect on community college education.
Hart represents the 18th Senate District, which includes portions of Santa Barbara, Ventura and Los Angeles counties.
The reception is planned in the staff lounge from 8 to 9 a.m.
