LOS ANGELES COUNTY : 3 Sites Accepting Supplies for Hurricane Victims

Supplies for the victims of Hurricane Andrew can be donated at three drop-off sites placed by an investment firm that plans to ship the materials on to Florida.
Fidelity Investments is accepting health and baby supplies, insect repellent, toiletries, batteries, packaged or canned non-perishable food and other essential supplies. The materials can be dropped off at 811 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles; 1800 Avenue of the Stars, Suite 100, Century City, and 527 N. Brand Boulevard, Glendale.
Supplies will be accepted at these sites through Sept. 18, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Supplies collected at the sites will be shipped directly to relief centers in Florida.
