Sol Baer Fielding; Former Film Producer, Comic Strip Artist

Sol Baer Fielding, 83, a former MGM producer of such films as Barbara Stanwyck’s “Jeopardy.” Other films included “Bright Road” starring Harry Belafonte and “Tennessee Champ” starring Shelley Winters. Fielding spent part of his career as a graphic artist and at one time drew the comic strip “Rusty” for the now-defunct Los Angeles Herald-Express. He also produced satirical cartoons for various political campaigns. On Sept. 2 in Los Angeles.
