Memorial Tribute to Ethel Narvid

A memorial tribute to Ethel Narvid, founding chairwoman of the Shakespeare Festival/L.A., will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at Campanile Restaurant, 625 S. La Brea Ave.
Mrs. Narvid, who was an administrative assistant to Mayor Tom Bradley for 12 years, died of congestive heart failure Aug. 16.
Participants in the memorial tribute, which is open to the public, will include a string quartet from the Los Angeles Mozart Orchestra and actors who have participated in Shakespeare Festival/L.A., which has offered admission to performances with donations of canned food for the homeless since its founding in 1986.
