The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between Sept. 7 and Sept. 13:
Glendale
South Verdugo Road, 100 block--Cigarettes and lighters, valued at $900, and $50 cash were stolen from a market in a burglary on Sept. 7 or 8.
Verdugo Boulevard, 2000 block--Thieves pried open the front door of an electronics store and stole video cameras, VCRs, CD players, radios, phones and scanners, valued at about $7,730, between 4 and 4:15 a.m. Sept. 8.
Sonora Avenue, 400 block--Burglars broke into a house through the only window without iron bars and stole jewelry, crystal, silver, liquor and cash, all of unknown value, between 8:25 a.m. and 1:50 p.m. Sept. 10.
West Cerritos Avenue, 400 block--Witnesses waiting for trains at the Amtrak station reported that a man vaulted the counter and stole $280 cash from the register while the ticket clerk was helping unload a train at 8:10 p.m. Sept. 10.
Sky View Lane, 3800 block--Two telephones, a laptop computer, typewriter and copy machine of unknown value were stolen from a construction trailer on Sept. 10 or 11.
Elm Avenue, 1100 block--A circular saw and three torque wrenches, valued at $840, were stolen from a storage shed between Sept. 10 and 13.
East Garfield Avenue, 200 block--Thieves broke into an apartment on Sept. 10 or 11 and stole several pieces of jewelry, valued at more than $1,080.
Balboa Avenue, 600 block--A man reported that his wife’s wheelchair, valued at $401, was stolen from outside their apartment at 4 p.m. Sept. 11.
West Cypress Street--A woman leaving a bank at 1:25 p.m. Sept. 12 reported that two men knocked her down and fled with her wallet, which contained $75.
Pacific Avenue and Palm Drive--A man with a large dagger in his waistband who was driving a vehicle that had been stolen at knifepoint was arrested on suspicion of auto burglary at 9:45 p.m. Sept. 12.
Elk Avenue and Brand Boulevard--Four men were arrested for the theft of a car at 12:13 a.m. Sept. 12.
Pioneer Drive, 400 block--Two antique dolls, valued together at $3,000, were stolen from a hotel room between 1 and 3 p.m. Sept. 12.
West Los Feliz Road--A man and woman were being detained for shoplifting at a grocery store at 8:10 p.m. Sept. 13, when the man lunged at the assistant store manager with a knife and cut his cheek. The couple escaped in a car.
La Crescenta
Foothill Boulevard, 3000 block--A gas station was broken into on Sept. 12 or 13, and auto supplies, cigarettes and gasoline, valued at $1,020.42, and $131 cash were stolen.
Atwater Village
Los Feliz Boulevard and Riverside Drive--Golf clubs and a cellular phone, valued at $2,850, were stolen while left unattended between 7:40 and 8:10 p.m. Sept. 8.
Avenue 33 and Andrita Street--Two men with a gun entered a person’s car, ejected the victim and drove away at 3:45 p.m. Sept. 9.
Glendale Boulevard, 2500 block--A man robbed a market at gunpoint of $150 cash at 8:50 p.m Sept. 11.
Cypress Park
Figueroa Street, 2600 block--A fast-food restaurant clerk was robbed of $560 cash at 6:45 p.m. Sept. 8 by two men with a revolver.
Echo Park
Everett Street and Sunset Boulevard--Two men robbed a person on the street of jewelry valued at $100 and a vehicle at 9:30 p.m. Sept. 7.
Elysian Park Avenue, 1000 block--A stereo valued at $3,000 was stolen from an office building between 6:15 and midnight Sept. 10.
Glassell Park
Verdugo Road, 4400 block--Burglars smashed the window of a house, ransacked it and stole jewelry and money, valued at $2,550, between 8:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Sept. 8.
Cazador Street, 3700 block--Burglars broke a sliding glass door of a home and stole jewelry, precious metals, cameras and equipment, valued at $15,740, between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sept. 8.
Highland Park
York Boulevard, 5400 block--Two men robbed a liquor store clerk of $400 cash after a struggle over a handgun, then beat the clerk before fleeing shortly before 10 p.m. Sept. 9.
Munson Avenue, 1500 block--Thieves pried open a garage door and stole sporting goods and other property, valued at $3,430, on Sept. 10 or 11.
Aldama Street, 5500 block--Two men ran pushed a woman to the ground and fled with her purse, which contained $435 cash, at 9:50 a.m. Sept. 12.
Figueroa Street, 5400 block--A gunman robbed a market of $500 cash at 10 p.m. Sept. 12.
Los Feliz
Palmerston Place, 1900 block--Burglars entered an apartment and stole jewelry and a TV, valued at $7,350. The crime was reported Sept. 8.
Hollywood Boulevard, 4700 block--Money, cameras and equipment, valued at $2,330, were reported stolen from a fast-food restaurant on Sept. 7.
North Vermont Avenue, 1600 block--A person in a parking facility was robbed of $14,026 cash by a thief who stood behind the victim and simulated a handgun at 1:10 p.m. Sept. 8.
Rodney Drive, 1900 block--Two men were seen prying open the front door of an apartment and stealing jewelry and video equipment, valued at $36,100, at 2:45 p.m. Sept. 8. No arrests were made.
Prestwick Drive, 3700 block--Jewelry and a TV, valued at $4,550, were stolen from a house on Sept. 9 or 10.
Camero Avenue, 4000 block--Video equipment and jewelry, valued at $2,375, were stolen from a house between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sept. 10.
Carnavon Way, 3900 block--Burglars forced open a side window of a house and stole computer equipment and money, valued at $3,260, on Sept. 9 or 10.
Franklin Avenue, 4800 block--A man armed with a semiautomatic handgun robbed a woman of money and jewelry, valued at $2,909, and fled in her car at 1:10 p.m Sept. 12.
Mt. Washington
Figueroa Street, 4400 block--A man robbed a gas station clerk of $300 cash at 6:45 p.m. Sept. 7.
West Avenue 44, 300 block--Video equipment and recorded music, valued at $3,175, were stolen from a house between 7:25 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sept. 10.
Mayview Drive, 2000 block--A house was burglarized between 8:05 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. Sept. 11, and video equipment and a stereo, valued at $1,300, were stolen.
Silver Lake
Rowena Avenue, 2800 block--Jewelry valued at $6,000 was stolen from a house between 1 and 4:30 p.m. Sept. 7.
Edenhurst Avenue, 4200 block--A man was arrested on suspicion of burglarizing a house where money and jewelry, valued at $590, were stolen at 5:20 p.m. Sept. 8.
Hyperion Avenue, 2900 block--Thieves entered a fast-food restaurant through the roof and stole money and documents, valued at $2,867. The crime was reported Sept. 7.
Hyperion Avenue, 1800 block--Eight men armed with a revolver robbed a person on the street of money and jewelry, valued at $12,600, at 2:10 a.m. Sept. 10.
