Birthday Tribute: Veteran animation director Chuck Jones will receive an 80th birthday salute during the “Bugs Bunny on Broadway” presentation tonight at 8 at the Hollywood Bowl. The show will feature restored Merrie Melodies and Looney Tunes cartoons shown on a giant screen above the Bowl’s stage while the Los Angeles Philharmonic performs the classical music scores.
