A magnitude 4.5 earthquake rocked the small Northern California town of Cloverdale on Saturday but there were no reports of damage or injury, authorities said.
The temblor, which struck shortly after 4 p.m., was centered in the Geysers area of Sonoma County, about 75 miles north of San Francisco, according to officials at the U.S. Geological Survey office in Golden, Colo.
“Only two people called in and said they felt anything,” said dispatcher Becky Fasic of the Cloverdale Police Department.
