Don’t Get Your Starrs Crossed
A rose may be a rose, but what’s in a name is not the same. Take the Starrs, for example (“Judge Rejects . . . Slander Case,” Sept. 4).
Hank Starr is a candidate for the California state Senate, 19th District. He is a judge pro-tem of the Superior Court.
Hank Starr is not, nor is he related to, Robert “Nick” Starr, who is involved with the Ventura Port District board of commissioners and their litigation.
So by all means, keep the Starrs in your eyes but remember that the Starr on the ballot is Hank Starr.
