Dodgers Looking Ahead to Next Year

Hiring Phil Regan to succeed Tom Lasorda would be another misstep by Dodger management. Other than being a rather old former Dodger, Regan’s claim to fame is that he persuaded the Dodgers to sign his two Seattle proteges, Matt Young and Ed Vande Berg. And being considered Fred Claire’s most trusted adviser is hardly something to put at the top of a resume.
