SANTA ANA : Candidate Debate Questions Sought
- Share via
Citizens are being asked to submit questions for a debate between City Council candidates scheduled for Oct. 21.
Kim McPeck, chairman of the Bristol Manor Neighborhood Assn., said that the format allows for the candidates to be given the questions nine days in advance of the forum, which will be held in the council chambers at 7 p.m. It is being jointly sponsored by the Bristol Manor and Floral Park neighborhood associations.
“We think a good candidate will take the questions and research them and come up with a good answer,” McPeck said.
Anyone interested in suggesting questions must mail them by Monday to the Bristol Manor Neighborhood Assn., P.O. Box 5370/17, Santa Ana, Calif. 92704.
McPeck said neighborhood leaders will pick the best questions and then send them to the candidates on Oct. 12.
