Here is a composite set of conditions and restrictions imposed on home businesses by Orange County cities:
The residence is not the point of customer pickup or delivery, and the business does not increase neighborhood vehicle traffic.
Business is conducted only in an enclosed structure.
Only residents of the home are employed in the business.
Use of the garage for business will not eliminate its use for off-street parking.
Only one person and one vehicle are associated with the business.
No exterior signs or displays will give evidence of a business in the home.
Food shall not be commercially prepared, sold or stored on the premises.
No light, noise, odor, dust, vibrations, fumes or smoke will be discernible at the boundaries of the property.
No equipment will be used that interferes with radios, televisions or telephones or causes fluctuations in electrical service outside the dwelling.
Flammable, toxic, explosive or other dangerous chemicals will not be used or stored at the residence.
