Valencia Man Dies in Crash

A 22-year-old Valencia man was killed early Sunday when his pickup truck veered off the Antelope Valley Freeway near Santa Clarita and rolled over several times, authorities said.
Juan Falcon was driving north on the freeway near Escondido Canyon Road when his truck apparently swerved to the right, hit the shoulder and flipped over, California Highway Patrol Officer Louis Borunda said.
Borunda said Falcon was wearing a seat belt but apparently hit his head as the vehicle overturned. He died at the scene.
Falcon apparently was driving alone and no one else was injured in the crash. It was not known why he veered off the roadway.
A passing motorist found the wreckage about 4 a.m. and notified authorities.
