St. Paul 14, Alemany 13--Alemany quarterback Chris Tashima’s pass for a two-point conversion fell short in the closing seconds as host St. Paul (3-3, 1-0) hung on to down the hard-luck Indians (0-5-1, 0-1).

Brian Van Holten’s three-yard touchdown run with 29 seconds left capped a 10-play, 76-yard Alemany drive to make it 14-13.

Tashima connected with Anthony Castillo for a six-yard touchdown pass late in the first quarter for an 7-0 Alemany lead. Van Holten rushed for 118 yards in 25 carries.
